Aoyama Cemetery

One might think having a picnic in a cemetery to enjoy the trees sounds kind of creepy, unless you are celebrating Cinco de Mayo, but apparently it is pretty popular in Tokyo, at least at this cemetery. Aoyama Cemetery is about a 10 minute walk from the Roppongi subway station. I am not sure how old the cemetery is, but I have read that it is at least a couple centuries. The cemetery is known for the long central road leading through it that is draped in cherry blossoms.
