The Seishoji Temple is right next to our apartment. It was originally founded in the 1500s and later moved to its current site during the 1600s. Japan does a phenomenal job of retaining their culture while continuing to modernize. This temple is nestled in between two sky scrapers and yet doesn’t look out of place here. Personally I think it is one of the prettiest temples I have seen in Tokyo, but being as it is less than a one minute walk away, the ease of getting to it may have influenced my option.
