This temple is around a 10 minute walk from our apartment near the Tokyo Prince Hotel. It was built in 1605 and routinely has events and fairs. During our first week in Tokyo we came across it during a fair. During my recent visit I was delighted to see that there was a vendor selling bubble milk tea (the milk based tea with tapioca balls), unfortunately it was not nearly as good as the ones in the US or Shanghai, and was more expensive than both combined.
